History:
Deansgate has a long and rich history, dating back to the 13th century. It was originally a Roman road, and now a busy main central street that offers city goers everything they could need. In the 19th century, Deansgate was home to many textile mills and warehouses. Today, it’s a thriving commercial and cultural district.

Car ownership might be tricky as Deansgate is now one way for a limited section and taxi & bus only for the remainder, car parks are available at either end and off the adjoining streets. Cycling has been made a better experience with the Bee Route providing protected bike lanes the length of Deansgate.
